Hello and welcome to Mindful Learners Collaborative (MLC), LLC. My name is Dr. Lisa Femia-Hou and I am the founder and CEO of MLC. Whether you are a student, parent/guardian, teacher, or an administrator I am honored you have taken the time to find out more about us. MLC provides school-based consulting and/or direct student services across New Hampshire. I began MLC following twelve years of working in a New Hampshire public school district as a school psychologist and special education administrator. Working with students, families, teachers, and administrators across the district, it became clear there is a growing need for highly specialized services in the public and private school settings. I strongly believe that public and private organizations can work collaboratively to ensure sustainable high-quality services to benefit all learners. Mindful Learners Collaborative (MLC), LLC believes learning should be a life-long, engaging, and positive process, not a checklist. The foundation of MLC’s philosophy is built on the belief that school districts, teachers, parents, families, and students themselves all aspire to the same goal. This shared goal centers on children and adolescents thriving in the current moment and throughout their lives. Our perspective provides the platform for highly trained experts to offer an array of collaborative services to districts, teachers, students, and families to meet the comprehensive needs of all learners, including those with highly specialized learning needs. Based in New Hampshire, Mindful Learners Collaborative (MLC) provides highly specialized school-based services for schools, districts, students, and families.
