Educator Professional Development
MLC is pleased to offer Professional Development training for educators on a variety of topics. Recent topics presented have included the following:
A half/full or multiple day workshop providing educators with a foundation in academic evaluations. Based on time commitment and level of training, at minimum educators will walk away with an understanding of academic evaluations and their role during special education meetings. More advanced topics will include administering and interpreting academic assessment tools.
This workshop offers an effective way to approach the diverse needs, including behavioral and/or mental health, of students in classrooms.
An interactive workshop reviewing essential background information and providing practical recommendations for educators working with students diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Trauma Related Disorders.
