Types of Services

Based in New Hampshire, Mindful Learners Collaborative (MLC) provides highly specialized school-based services for schools, districts, students, and families. Services provided by MLC range from student-specific to school-wide initiatives to benefit all students. Services are provided by trained experts that have practiced in both the public and private sectors for over 10 years.   Regardless of the service provided, MLC experts always begin by acquiring and using meaningful and accurate data to make informed decisions and comprehensive plans.  See below for some of the services MLC can provide. Consulting

School-wide Initiatives

  • Development of school-wide initiatives to identify at-risk students and corresponding action plans.
  • Development of school-wide initiatives aimed at integrating skill development at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels in the areas of executive functioning and social-emotional learning.

Professional Development and Consultation

    • Integrating Restorative Justice practices in the school
    • Suicide awareness and the development of district-wide protocols to identify at-risk student behaviors 
    • Understanding complex learning needs
    • Understanding the complexities of trauma 

Interactive Parent Workshops

    • Teaching Coping Skills 
    • Modeling Calming techniques in your home

Specialized Program Development

Specialized Program Development for student populations that require intensive interventions.  Examples include programs requiring services and supports for students with significant mental health, behavioral, or alternative programming needs. Services can include the following:

    • District and school-wide needs assessment with a corresponding detailed action plan, including cost-benefit analysis.  
    • Assisting with hiring and training of expert staff in the area of student need.
    • Development of data tracking systems for individual progress monitoring and program evaluation. 
    • Assistance in applying for and meeting criteria for program approval by the Department of Education in New Hampshire.
    • Continual consultation to ensure successful program development and maintenance.
